Details! Seems like I’ve got very little of the written word to show for all the time I’ve spent at my desk in the last few weeks. I keep trying to get all my ducks in a row–or seagulls, as the case is with my current beach-themed series–only to have one fly off.

Maybe it’s a plot point that doesn’t fit or research that needs to be done. Or, as was the case last weekend, I had an excused absence while I flew down to Texas (see how that bird theme just keeps on going?) to give two workshops and a keynote address to a fabulous group of Christian writers. Thanks so much Inspirational Writers Alive for making me feel welcome!

But now it’s Tuesday afternoon and I’ve got work to do. Words to write. Character people to get to know better. Just as soon as I chase down that last little detail!
